Kangana Ranaut to produce a film on Ram Mandir titled Aparajitha Ayodhya

Kangana Ranaut has proved her mettle as an actress and as a director. She is now all set to enter into production and has named her production house as Manikarnika Films.

Today, Kangana has announced her first production venture and it will be a film on Ram Mandir. Titled Aparajitha Ayodhya, the movie will be on the backdrop of Ram Mandir court case that has been making the headlines from the past many years.

The movie is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad and it will start rolling by early next year. Talking about her first production venture, Kangana stated, "The Ram temple has been a burning topic for hundreds of years. As a child born in the ’80s, I have grown up hearing the name Ayodhya in a negative light because the piece of land on which was born a king, who was the epitome of sacrifices, became the subject of a property dispute. The case has changed the face of Indian politics and the verdict has ended the centuries-old dispute while embodying the secular spirit of India. What makes Aparajitha Ayodhya different is that it is the journey of the protagonist from a non-believer to a believer. And since, in a way, it reflects my personal journey, I decided it would be the apt subject for my first production.”

Well, it seems to be a controversial topic, but it will be interesting to see which actors Kangana will rope in for the movie.

Talking about her movies as an actress, Kangana will next be seen on the big screen in Panga which is slated to release on 24th January 2020. She also has movies like Thalaivi and Dhaakad in her kitty. While the former is slated to hit the screens in June 2020, the latter will release during Diwali next year.
