John Mathew Matthan to approach Aamir Khan for Sarfarosh 2?

With John Abraham bowing out of the much-awaited sequel Sarfarosh 2, filmmaker John Mathew Matthan has suddenly found himself surrounded by a lot of problems. Apart from toplining the sequel to the Aamir Khan starrer Sarfarosh (1999), John was also bankrolling the project under his production house.

However, since the Dhoom (2004) actor is no more associated with the high-profile sequel, director John Mathew Matthan has no idea how he is going to sail through the difficult time. According to reports, Matthan is now searching for a replacement.

We also hear that the filmmaker is planning to approach Aamir Khan for the lead role. Khan played the male lead in the original film two decades ago.

“John Matthan is keen on approaching Aamir Khan again but is not sure if he will agree. He has someone in mind as well and we may see an announcement soon once he wraps the script,” a source reveals.

We hope John Mathew Matthan finds a suitable replacement soon.
