Jhanvi Kapoor's debut film to start rolling from 1st December!

There is going to a deluge of star kids who will be making their big Bollywood debut next year. But the one name that has caught the fancy of almost every film enthusiast across the country is veteran actress Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor's elder daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor.

Jhanvi's debut has been the talk of the town for quite a long time now. Earlier there were reports that she will enter filmdom with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2. Then news came in that Karan wants her to mark her debut with the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat. However, no official announcement was ever made and fans kept guessing about her debut vehicle.


Recently, there were reports that Sridevi was miffed with Karan Johar because he was busy announcing one big project after another with other actors, but there was no sign of her dear daughter's debut film.

But now it seems that Karan has paid heed to the iconic actresses' concerns and has a plan for Jhanvi's debut film. It has been confirmed that the newbie will make her entry in Bollywood with the remake of Sairat opposite Ishaan Khattar, younger brother of Shahid Kapoor. There were many speculations going around the commencement of the movie but now it is final that the film will start rolling from 1st of December 2017.

The movie will be directed by Shashank Khaitan who has previously helmed successful films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
