Jassie Gill starts preps for Panga

After creating a niche for himself in the Punjabi film and music industry, singer-turned-actor Jassie Gill seems set to establish himself in Bollywood also.

Recently, Gill made his Hindi film debut with Mudassar Aziz’s comic-caper Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi and received an overwhelming response for his great comic timing.

Not many people know, but he had signed his second Hindi film weeks before his debut Bollywood hit the marquee.

And the film was Panga, which will be helmed by renowned filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Besides Gill, the movie also stars Kangana Ranaut, Richa Chadha, Neena Gupta, and Pankaj Tripathi.

The latest we hear that Jassie recently met director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari to discuss his role, after which he started preparations for his part.

“The actor has already started prepping for his character, which is something he is excitedly looking forward to before he starts shooting for the film,” a source reveals.

Panga goes on floors by the end of the year.
