Ishaan Khatter awaiting announcement on his next

After making his acting debut with the Majid Majid-directed Beyond the Clouds (2018), Ishaan Khatter stunned everyone with his powerful performance in Shashank Khaitan’s romantic film Dhadak (2018), which also launched Janhvi Kapoor in Bollywood.

Soon it will be a year since the release of Dhadak, but there has been no update on what Ishaan Khatter is doing next. His name has been associated with a couple of projects though in the past few months.

Now the young actor is rumoured to be a part of the biopic on freedom fighter Birsa Munda. The film will reportedly be directed by Abhishek Kapoor who recently helmed Sara Ali Khan’s launch vehicle Kedarnath (2018). Celebrated filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali may produce the untitled project.

But when Khatter was recently asked about the same, he chose to refrain from making any comment on the project. He, however, said that people should wait for the announcement from the makers.

“I am sure you will hear the announcement very soon. It will be better if the announcements are made correctly with all the people concerned,” said the young actor.

  • Legal letters were exchanged, though no formal action was taken
  • The request followed what Brooklyn viewed as damaging briefings about his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham
  • Both sides are said to be hoping for reconciliation, despite ongoing hurt

A breakdown that moved beyond private disagreement

Relations within the Beckham family deteriorated sharply last summer, reaching a point where Brooklyn Beckham asked his parents to communicate with him only through legal representatives. The request marked one of the most serious moments in an already strained relationship between the eldest Beckham son and his parents.

Sources say the instruction led to an exchange of letters between legal teams at Schillings, representing Brooklyn, and Harbottle & Lewis, who act for David and Victoria Beckham. While no legal proceedings were initiated, the correspondence made clear that Brooklyn did not want direct contact or public references to him from his parents, including on social media.
