Get Rid of gallstones in minutes with Advanced Procedure

Diagnosed with gallstones? Looking for treatment options to get rid of your gallstones? Well! Gallstones are stones found in your gallbladder which can block the biliary ducts causing intense pain in your abdomen. The size of the gall stones may vary in shape, size number, and composition. A person with gallstones may experience pain in the upper right portion of the abdomen which may worsen with time due to the blockage of the ducts in the biliary tract.

How are gallstones formed?

The Gallbladder is a pear-shaped small hollow organ where bile is stored and concentrated before it is released into the small intestine. The function of the bitterness is to aid in the dispersion and digestion of fat in the small intestine. Unhealthy food habits, alcohol consumption and exposure to harmful chemicals may concentrate the bile. In this way, a gallbladder sludge is formed, which constitutes cholesterol, calcium, bilirubin, and other compounds. It, later on, turns out to form gallstones. Generally, two types of gallstones are found:

  1. Cholesterol Stones: It results due to excessive amounts of cholesterol in the blood and are generally yellow-greenish in colour
  2. Pigment Stones: These are dark in colour and results due to excessive secretion of bilirubin.

Signs and Symptoms of Gallstones:

  • Swelling and pain in the gallbladder
  • Inflammation in the pancreas or pancreatitis
  • Pain and Fever
  • Nausea & Vomiting
  • Infection or initiation of damage of gallbladder, bile ducts, and liver
  • Signs of Jaundice (yellowish skin or white eyes)
  • Light coloured stools, milky urine

Treatment of gallstones:

Gallstone treatment usually requires surgery. Cholesterol stones can be treated by non-surgical methods but the pigment stones require surgery. Among the various surgical methods available for gallstone removal laparoscopic gallbladder surgery is considered to be one of the most advanced, safe and effective treatment options to get rid of gallstones.

Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a procedure that can help you get rid of gallstones problems in minutes. The procedure is carried out under the presence of general anaesthesia. In this procedure, a minute incision is made on the wall of the abdomen through which a laparoscope is inserted. The laparoscope inserted allows the surgeon to visualise the clear images of the organs or tissues on the video monitor. Once the surgeon has access to the gallbladder, he may dissect the gallbladder from the liver and other ducts very carefully through one of the incisions made.

Some of the significant advantages of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy are explained as follows:

  • It is a simple procedure and minimally invasive technique
  • Does not require a large incision
  • An individual can resume back to their work just after a day of surgery.
  • Does not require any follow up treatments or frequent doctor visits
  • Very Less or Minimal Pain
  • Recurrence rates are very low
  • Lesser and dissolvable Stitches

Sugary consumption rising with heat

People are more likely to consume sugary drinks and ice cream on warmer days, particularly in lower-income households, according to new research. The study warns that climate change could intensify this trend, adding to health risks as global temperatures continue to rise.

Sugar consumption is a major contributor to obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, and has surged worldwide in recent decades. The findings, published in Nature Climate Change, suggest that rising heat could be nudging more people towards high-sugar products such as soda, juice and ice cream.
