After the super success of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra are teaming up once again for a film titled Toofan. The shooting of the film is currently going and well, unfortunately, Farhan has injured himself on the sets.

The actor took to Instagram to inform his fans about it. He posted a picture of his X-Ray and wrote, “When nature plays Tetris .. and yup, that’s my first legit boxing injury .. a hairline fracture on the hamate (courtesy @kongkoul ??)found among the carpal bones of the hand. ?? #nopainnogain #ToofanInTheMaking #trophycollector #weareallthesameinside.”

Farhan plays the role of a boxer in the film and he has been training hard to be perfect in his role. A few days ago, the makers had unveiled the first look poster of the film and it was quite impressive. Farhan had captioned the poster as, “Toofan Uthega!! FIRST LOOK! #TOOFAN releasing 2nd October 2020!! ?❤️ @rakeyshommehra @ritesh_sid @mrunalofficial2016 #PareshRawal @shankarehsaanloy @excelmovies @romppictures @vjymaurya @zeemusiccompany #AnjumRajabali #JavedAkhtar #AAfilms ?@drewnealpt ??‍♀️@samir_jaura ?‍♀️@darrellfoster.”

Apart from Farhan, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal. As Farhan and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra have teamed up for the second time, the expectations from the film are quite high. Toofan will hit the screens on 2nd Oct 2020.

Meanwhile, currently, Farhan is busy garnering the praises that he is getting for his performance in The Sky Is Pink. The movie, which also stars Priyanka Chopra, has received fantastic reviews. But unfortunately, the movie isn’t doing well at the box office. In two days, it has collected Rs 6.50 crore approx. at the Indian box office. Well, let’s hope that it shows good growth at the box office in the coming days.

You arrive in Kochi, and it feels like the sea air makes everything slightly sharper; faces in the city look purposeful, a film poster peels at the corner of a wall. In a city that has cradled a thriving film industry for decades, a single crime on the night of 17 February 2017 ruptured the ordinary: an abduction, a recorded sexual assault and a survivor who reported it the next day. What happened next is every woman’s unspoken nightmare, weaponised into brutal reality. It was a public unpeeling of an industry’s power structures, a slow-motion fight over evidence and testimony, and a national debate about how institutions protect (or fail) women.

For over eight years, her fight for justice became a mirror held up to an entire industry and a society. It was a journey from the dark confines of that car to the glaring lights of a courtroom, from being a silenced victim to becoming a defiant survivor whose voice sparked a revolution. This is not just the story of a crime. It is the story of what happens when one woman says, "Enough," and the tremors that follow.
