Dhadak set for a TV adaptation as Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki

Dharma Productions’ 2018 offering Dhadak, which launched veteran actress Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor opposite Ishaan Khatter, is set for a small screen adaptation.

Yes, you heard that right! One of the leading GEC (General Entertainment Channel), &TV, has started working on the adaptation of the film, which itself was the official remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat (2016). If reports are to be believed, the show is called Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki.

Talking about the star cast of the new television series, we hear that Kinshuk Vaidya has been finalized to play the male lead. He will essay the same character which was played by Ishaan Khatter in Dhadak.

Newcomer Pranali Singh has been locked to play the female lead opposite Kinshuk Vaidya, while Udaan fame Sai Balal will be seen as the lead antagonist.

Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki is being bankrolled under the banner of Shaika Films. It is expected to hit airwaves right after IPL gets over.

More details are awaited.

Spider-Noir swaps superheroes for smoke-filled mystery

Marvel has spent years expanding its superhero universe, but Spider-Noir takes a noticeably different route. Instead of another glossy modern adventure, the new Prime Video series leans heavily into old-school detective storytelling, pulling viewers into a world of shadows, cigarette smoke and classic noir style.

Led by Nicolas Cage, the series trades skyscraper heroics for trench coats and private investigations. While Cage previously voiced a Spider-Man variant in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, this version is not Peter Parker. Here, he plays Ben Reilly, a former masked hero who once protected New York as The Spider.
