Deepika Padukone on her pregnancy rumours: Do I look like I am pregnant?

After a celebrity couple gets married, soon there are rumours about them turning parents. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in November 2018, and from the past many months, we have been hearing the rumours of Deepika’s pregnancy.

Recently, during a media interaction when she was asked about her pregnancy rumours, the actress said, “Do I look like I am pregnant? And even if I am then you will come to know in nine months.”

When further questioned, what kind of a mother she will be, Deepika said, “I think I’ll figure that out when it happens. I don’t know, I think it depends on when it happens in my life. Also, parenting is not only one’s responsibility, but it’s the responsibility of two people. It really depends on how together we decide to parent. In fact, one of our friends just had a baby and they were like no matter how much people tell you about parenting, at the end of the day, you are going to be a mother and a father for the first time. Your child is a newborn but you are also a new parent and you have got to just figure it out as you go along.”

“Discipline, yes. I do know that I’m going to be the disciplinary one and he (Ranveer) will be the one who indulges. I know my children will value me when they get older,” the actress added.

Deepika is currently busy with the promotions of Chhapaak which is slated to release on 10th January 2020. The movie is based on the life of the acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film also stars Vikrant Massey in the lead role.

Apart from Chhpaak, Deepika has movies like Shakun Batra’s next and Draupadi in her kitty.
