Date issues force R Madhavan to bow out of Fanney Khan!

His fans went absolutely crazy when the news came in that R. Madhavan has teamed up with the scintillating actress and former beauty queen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Prernaa Arora's forthcoming movie, Fanney Khan.

Everyone was quite excited about the pairing and believed the two would set the silver screen on fire as both of them are hotness personified. But the latest news of R Madhavan bowing out of the film is surely going to break many hearts.

Yes, the Rehnna Hai Terre Dil Mein actor is no longer part of the multi-crore project. R Madhavan has confirmed that he has opted out of the movie. The actor has given date conflicts as the reason behind exiting the project.

"I loved the script and was really keen to be part of an interesting ensemble like Fanney Khan, unfortunately, I couldn't commit to the project due to date issues. I wish the team of all the luck," Madhavan said in a statement.

Prernna Arora, who is co-producing the musical comedy film with T-Series and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, said, "I think Madhavan is one of the finest actors we have today. I look forward to working with him in the future".

After R Madhavan's exit from the project, the makers have roped in the very talented Rajkummar Rao as the last minute replacement. Besides Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao, Fanney Khan also stars Anil Kapoor in an important role. The project is being helmed by Atul Manjrekar.
