Contrary to reports, Mouni Roy isn’t doing item song in Dabangg 3

Rumours are rife in Bollywood corridors that gorgeous actress Mouni Roy, who successfully made a transition from television to films with the Akshay Kumar starrer Gold (2018), has been signed on to do a special dance number in superstar Salman Khan’s hotly anticipated film, Dabangg 3.

Though the makers have not said anything about the possibility of any item number in the film or whether they have signed any actress for the same, insiders reveal that Mouni Roy is not doing the said song in Dabangg 3.

“Rumours have been floating around Mouni Roy being considered for a special dance number in Dabangg 3, but that’s not true. It’s just a rumour and there is no truth to it. Mouni has not been approached for Dabangg 3,” an entertainment portal reports.

Directed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Prabhu Deva, Dabangg 3 is the third instalment of the successful Bollywood film franchise Dabangg (2010). It is set to roll into theatres on 20th December 2019.

Meanwhile, Mouni Roy will next be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s Made In China, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. She is also playing the female lead opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Bole Chudiyan.

7 Bruce Willis thrillers ranked by Rotten Tomatoes score that aren’t 'Die Hard'

Highlights

  • Bruce Willis has several critically acclaimed thrillers beyond the Die Hard franchise
  • Looper currently holds the highest Rotten Tomatoes score among these picks at 93%
  • 12 Monkeys and The Sixth Sense also rank among his strongest-reviewed films
  • The list spans sci-fi thrillers, supernatural mysteries, neo-noir and action films

Bruce Willis will always be associated with John McClane, but Die Hard is hardly the only place where the actor made his mark on the thriller genre.

Across the 1990s and 2000s, Willis moved between time-travel mysteries, supernatural dramas, neo-noirs and action thrillers, often using the same understated intensity that made him such a recognisable screen presence. Rotten Tomatoes scores show that some of his most highly regarded work came when he stepped away from the role of the conventional action hero.
