THE biggest winner of this year’s Alchemy festival was the stunning Shankar Ehsaan Loy concert. The sold-out show at the Roy- al Festival Hall had the audience on their feet and singing along as the Bollywood trio performed some of the greatest hits from their 20-year career. They had top musicians and world-class singers supporting them in one of the greatest Bollywood con- certs ever staged in the UK. Shankar Mahadevan confirmed he is the most versatile singer in Bollywood, Ehsaan Noorani demonstrated that he is arguably the greatest guitarist in India and Loy Mendonsa showed off his remarkable versatility.…
