Bhumi Pednekar joins the cast of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan

2017 release Shubh Mangal Saavdhan starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. The film was a hit at the box office and it was last year when the makers of the film announced the sequel to the movie titled Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The sequel stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar in the lead roles and it will be a movie based on homosexuality.

Well now, the makers have roped in Bhumi Pednekar to do a special appearance in the film. Colour Yellow Productions took to Instagram to unveil Bhumi’s look from the film. They posted, “@bhumipednekar returns to the family with a special appearance in #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan! @smzsofficial @aanandlrai @ayushmannk @gajrajrao @neena_gupta @bhushankumar #hiteshkewalya @manurishichadha @maanvigagroo @Jitendrak1 @pankhuri313 @NeerajSingh @tseries.official @cypplofficial @tseriesfilms.”


Well, the actress is seen in an urban-cool avatar and we love her look.

While talking about roping in Bhumi for the special appearance, Aanand L Rai, the producer of the film, told a tabloid, “Bhumi is a part of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan family and we couldn’t imagine making Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan without her. She has a special appearance in the narrative and we are extremely happy to have her on board.”

This will be Ayushmann and Bhumi’s fourth collaboration. They have earlier worked in films like Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, and Bala. Moviegoers like to watch them on the big screen together. It will surely be interesting to see what character Bhumi plays in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.

Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is slated to hit the screens on 21st February 2020.

The report, led by the Institute for Public Policy Research, found that the UK ranks near the bottom among 22 countries for treatable mortality, a measure of deaths that could potentially be avoided with timely and effective care. Only the US performed worse.
