Veteran film and television actress Aruna Irani, who is currently seen in Colors’ historical show Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali, has bagged a new soap. The talented actress has been signed on to play an important role in Star Plus’ forthcoming show, titled Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji. Interestingly, Irani was not the original choice for the character she has been offered. Before she came onboard, the makers had cast award-winning actress Surekha Sikri who is presently basking in the success of her recently released blockbuster film Badhaai Ho (2018).
