Anupam Kher appreciates Shah Rukh Khan’s decision of taking a break from films

There is no denying the fact that Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest superstars the world has ever seen. In his storied career, he has delivered a series of blockbusters and touched millions of hearts with his diverse performances. However, things have not been rosy for him lately, especially after the failure of his ambitious film, Zero (2018).

People thought that Shah Rukh Khan would move on, just like he did many times in the past after his films failed to perform well, but now it looks like that he has taken the failure of his ambitious project to the heart. It has been more than six months since Zero hit the silver screen, but Khan is yet to announce his next film. Amidst this, his frequent collaborator Anupam Kher spoke about Khan’s break in an interview.

Appreciating Khan’s decision of taking a short break from movies, Kher said in his interview that taking breaks sometimes helps in reinventing yourself. “It’s a good decision to take. Sometimes, it helps you reinvent yourself.”

Though Shah Rukh Khan is not working on any film at the moment, he is keeping himself busy by devoting time to his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. After the success of his last production venture Badla (2019), Khan is now busy producing a couple of web-series for streaming media giant Netflix.

Some of his digital productions for Netflix India include Bard Of Blood, Class Of 83 and Betaal. While Bard Of Blood is set for its grand premiere on 27th September, Class Of 83 is currently under production. Betaal is expected to start rolling soon.
