Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi to start rolling next week

Rohit Shetty is all set to take his cop universe forward with Sooryavanshi which stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. It was last year when he officially announced the movie by introducing Akshay’s character in the climax of the film Simmba. The movie brings back Akshay and Katrina together on the big screen after a gap of around a decade and we are sure fans of both the actors are keen to see them on the silver screen together.

The movie is slated to release on Eid next year and according to a report in a tabloid, the film starts rolling on 6th May.  A source said, “Both Akshay and Katrina will be a part of the first schedule which will continue for 10 to 12 days in Mumbai. The set of a house has been designed at Mehboob studio wherein the couple will film some romantic scenes.”

According to the source, the shooting of the film will also take place at the real locations in Mumbai and then the team will fly down to Bangkok for the second schedule. The source said, “He (Rohit Shetty) will be canning a larger-than-life introductory scene with Akshay at some landmark locations in Bangkok. Katrina is unlikely to be a part of this shoot.” After that, the shooting will take place in Goa and Ramoji Film City where mostly all the films of Shetty are shot.

It will surely be interesting to see Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in a Rohit Shetty film.
