Aish expresses interest in a Hollywood project?

Fans of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are agog to know what the actress is doing next after putting up a special appearance in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Fanney Khan (2018). Though the actress was quite kicked about reteaming with husband Abhishek Bachchan on a film called Gulab Jamun, the project, we hear, has been shelved.

Currently, Aish has no Bollywood project in her kitty. However, her name is being associated with famed filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s next directorial venture, a bilingual historical drama which is being planned on the scale of S.S. Rajamouli’s gobsmackingly epic Baahubali series. The makers are yet to announce the project officially though.

The latest we hear that the former Miss World is in talks for a Hollywood project. Reportedly, Aish has liked the script and she may even sign it on the dotted line soon. If all goes well, the official announcement may come around the end of the year.

A well-placed source tells an entertainment portal, "Aishwarya has expressed interest in this Hollywood project. Paperwork is in process. Hopefully, if things go well, an announcement is expected by the year-end."

Another source adds, "Aishwarya has hired a team who is helping her with the deal in Hollywood. She is quite gung-ho about this."

Well, seeing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on silver screen is always a joy – be it in a Bollywood film or a Hollywood offering. We await the official announcement of her next projects with bated breath.
