Aamir Khan keen to sign Salman Khan to play Lord Krishna in Mahabharata

Buzz has it that superstar Salman Khan is being considered to play the role of Lord Krishna in the forthcoming epic drama series Mahabharata, which is being planned by Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan. Reportedly, it was Aamir who suggested Salman Khan take up the role of Lord Krishna in the movie.

A filmmaker close to the two actors reveals to an Indian daily, “Salman has been keen to do his own version of the Mahabharata. When he heard Aamir is doing it, he offered to pitch in. Aamir has spoken to Salman to play Krishna.”

If insiders are to be believed, Aamir is also in talks with megastar Amitabh Bachchan to play the role of Dhritarashtra in the movie. Both actors are currently working on Yash Raj Films' multi-starrer Thugs Of Hindostan.

Well, if Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan come together in a single film, it will be nothing but a casting coup which many can't pull.
