Modi biopic screened on the banks of river Ganga

A SPECIAL screening of PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on prime minister Narendra Modi, was held at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh on Sunday (26).

Actor Vivek Oberoi, who essayed the role of Modi, along with the film producer Sandip Ssingh, Yoga guru Swami Ramdev and His Holiness (HH) Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji (HH Pujya Muniji) of Parmarth Niketan were among those present on the occasion.

The biopic released on May 24 and it encapsulates Modi’s journey from his humble beginnings as a tea-seller to becoming the prime minister of India.

Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Suresh Oberoi, Zarina Wahab, Yatin Karyekar, Prashant Narayanan and Darshan Kumaar play pivotal roles.

The film was screened after the ashram’s Ganga aarti.

HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji said the message of interfaith harmony and oneness were crucial takeaways from the film.

Also, joining this special occasion were Lok Sabha MP from the Saran constituency in Bihar, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Maharashtra Minister of Water Resources Girish Mahajan, Rishikesh MLA and Vidhan Sabha speaker Prem Chand Agarwal, AIIMS Rishikesh director Dr Ravi Kant and other eminent personalities.
