Trailer of Veere Di Wedding set to roll out on 19th April

If you have been waiting to see Kareena Kapoor Khan on celluloid for quite a long time now, here is an exciting piece of news for you. According to sources, the trailer of her upcoming film Veere Di Wedding is coming out on 19th April. The actress was last seen in Udta Punjab in 2016.

"The theatrical promo for VDW will be launched on April 19. Unlike most others, this won’t be just a digital launch, but the actors will be unveiling the trailer with a press conference," reveals a source.

Besides Kareena Kapoor Khan, Veere Di Wedding also stars Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas in principal roles. Talking about the film, Kareena had earlier said, "Yeah! It is my wedding in the movie and it will be different. Rhea is going to style me. It will be stylish. And with Sonam, the fashionista in the movie, I surely cannot wear my jeans and t-shirt. Or you never know, I may convince her to come out of her ball gowns and wear jeans and t-shirt. You all should wait and watch (laughs)."

Veere Di Wedding is directed by Shashanka Ghosh. It is slated to release on 1st June.

Graham Norton's legal victory against Meta is attracting attention beyond the entertainment world. The broadcaster successfully obtained a court order in California requiring the social media giant to disclose information that could identify the operator of an anonymous Facebook page accused of spreading false claims and deepfake content about him.

According to court filings, the account published fabricated stories about Norton's health, his husband and even falsely claimed that his mother had died. While the case centres on a high-profile television personality, its wider significance lies in what it could mean for others facing similar online attacks.
