Trailer of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s Mental Hai Kya to be out on THIS date

After 2014 release Queen, Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao will be seen together on the big screen this year in Mental Hai Kya. The quirky posters of the film had grabbed our attention and now, it’s time to gear up for the trailer of the movie. The trailer of Mental Hai Kya will be out on 19th June 2019.

A source said, "The team has planned a grand launch on 19th June’19, where Kangana, Rajkummar and the entire team will be there to present the trailer to the audience."

It is said that Kangana will be seen in a totally different avatar in the film. The source said, "The film is a whacky, crazy story that revolves around these two characters played by Kangana and Rajkummar Rao. She plays a girl who's suffering from a mental condition and the film revolves around the prejudices and social taboos attached to the topic. There's already immense stigma attached to depression and mental illness and the makers of the film are tackling the issue with sensitivity."

Mental Hai Kya has faced a lot of controversies because of its release date. The movie will be hitting the screens on 26th July 2019 and on the same day, Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 was also slated to hit the screens. It was said that Kangana wanted to clash with Hrithik. However, producer Ekta Kapoor had cleared that it was her decision to release the film on 29th July. Later, the Hrithik starrer was rescheduled to 12th July 2019.

A few days ago, there were also reports that Kangana was interfering in director Prakash Kovelamudi work, but he denied the reports. Prakash said, "On my set, Kangana was an actor; a professional one, and a creative asset. Both Kangana and Rajkummar are powerhouse performers, whom I enjoyed directing. I am happy to see how their characters have turned out. Mental Hai Kya is an intriguing thriller with doses of quirk. The film challenges the norms, and I am thrilled to bring to the audience something original."
