Sushant Singh Rajput bags 'The Fault In Our Stars' remake!

If you are an ardent fan of Bollywood heartthrob Sushant Singh Rajput, we have the most amazing news for you. According to reports, the actor has been roped in to play the lead in the Hindi remake of Hollywood romantic drama film, The Faults In Our Stars, which is based on a book by the same name, written by John Green.

Singh, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Kedarnath with debutante Soha Ali Khan, the daughter of popular actors, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, will step into the shoes of Ansel Elgort.


The remake will mark the directorial debut of popular casting director Mukesh Chabbra. When Chabbra was asked about the same, he said, "Yes, I am on board for The Fault in Our Stars remake. I’m working on the script at the moment. Sushant is the leading man and we are still in the process of casting the heroine."

If all goes well, The Faults In Our Stars remake will mount floors early next year. Fox Star Studios will bankroll the project.

Besides Kedarnath and The Faults In Our Stars remake, Sushant Singh Rajput also has Chanda Mama Door Ke in his kitty. The actor has started his preparations for the space adventure film. Chanda Mama Door Ke will start rolling soon.
