Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez’s Drive delayed once again?

It was in 2017 when Tarun Mansukhani’s Drive started rolling. The film starring Sushant Singh Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez was slated to release in 2018, but after numerous change in the release date, it was supposed to finally release on 28th June 2019. However, now according to a report in a tabloid, the movie has been postponed once again.

The reason behind the delay is said to be the post-production work. A source said, “The post-production is taking longer than expected since the film is high on action with multiple racing scenes. Since the bar of action has been raised by both Bollywood and Hollywood spectacles in the last couple of years, the visual effects team is taking its time to get the scale right.”

It was also said that the movie won’t get a theatrical release and producer Karan Johar is planning to have a digital release for the film. However, the source denied the reports. The source said, “The final edit has been locked, and presently the film is in the final stage of post-production. Contrary to reports that it is being reshot or will be premiered on the digital platform, Drive is on course to a regular theatrical release in the second half of the year.”

We are sure fans of Sushant and Jacqueline are quite eager for Drive.
