Star Plus to axe Mariam Khan - Reporting Live

Star Plus’ show Mariam Khan – Reporting Live, which premiered on the channel on 21st May, 2018, is set to shut shop within seven months of hitting the airwaves. Fans of the show were in for a shock when reports emerged that the show is gearing up to bid adieu very soon.

According to reports, the channel has decided to pull the plug on the series in January, next year. We also hear that the makers tried their best to improve the TRPs. They even introduced several twists and turns in the plot along with bringing some fresh faces onboard in the star cast, but nothing helped in boosting its TRPs.


As per sources, Mariam Khan – Reporting Live will beam its final episode on 11th January, 2019. Post its end, another show will air on its time slot. However, the channel is yet to announce which upcoming show will be given its slot.

The current cast of Mariam Khan – Reporting Live includes talented actors like Param Singh and Mahima Makwana.

The show is produced by Majid Azam and Afaque Azam under the banner of Somersault Productions.

Diagnosis kept private during treatment

TV doctor Punam Krishan has revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer five months ago and has now completed her treatment.

The Glasgow-born GP, 42, shared the news in an Instagram post alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed, saying she is now healing but remains emotionally shaken by the experience.
