Sonakshi Sinha gears up to judge a fashion reality show

With more and more Bollywood actors trying to do something different and exploring opportunities elsewhere than just films, Sonakshi Sinha has also decided to bring some variety in her work profile. The actress, who was most recently seen in Dharma Productions’ Kalank (2019), has joined forces with The Zoom Studios and fashion firm Myntra to judge their fashion reality show, titled Myntra Fashion Superstar.

Sonakshi will judge men and women who come up with unique and interesting styles. “If anything is a true representation of one’s personality, it is fashion. I have always been drawn towards it because there is something exciting happening in this space all the time,” said the actress.

“While fashion is such an integral part of our lives, we haven’t had any show so far dedicated purely to it. I have always strived to do something different and new, and I jumped on the opportunity to judge India’s first ever hunt for the biggest fashion influencer. Through the show, we want people to be inspired to embrace fashion and not be intimidated by it,” she added.

Adding further, Sonakshi Sinha reveals what she will be looking for in participants as a judge on the show. “Confidence is another parameter that would be high on my judgement radar because I believe good fashion stems from great confidence. Influencers who are fun and vivacious are a big personal tick for me because that reflects massively on your style,” she signs off. Myntra Fashion Superstar is slated to go on-air in September.

On the film front, Sonakshi Sinha is looking forward to the release of her upcoming sex-clinic comedy, Khandaani Shafakhana. The film, directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, releases on 2nd August, 2019.
