Shah Rukh might start shooting for Don 3 after Zero

Buzz has it that superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently shooting for his forthcoming film Zero, might start working on the next instalment of the Don film series right after wrapping up the Aanand L Rai directorial.

Though Don 3 has not been announced officially as yet, producer Ritesh Sidhwani has time and again said that the movie will happen for sure. He has also confirmed that his team is currently writing the next instalment of the franchise.


The latest we hear that the project might take off as soon as Shah Rukh Khan is done with the shooting of Aanand L Rai's film which sees the superstar in a dual role, including a dwarf one.

As per a source, "Don has been a successful film. Don 2 turned out to be a hit as well, thus ensuring that the franchise can hold good. So, it is not just the makers — producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Farhan Akhtar who are keen to take the film ahead, Shah Rukh Khan too has a sure-shot hit when he works in that film. There are already a lot of fans wanting to see the third part, which makes it a much-awaited project."

Shah Rukh Khan's Zero is coming in cinemas on 21st December. It also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in principal roles.
