Pakistan Airport Worker Penalised after Video of Her Lip-Syncing Indian Song Goes Viral

A female staffer with Pakistan's Airport Security Force (ASF) has landed in trouble for lip-synching to an Indian song while wearing a cap with the Pakistan's flag on it.

Authorities were notified of the incident after a video of it went viral on social media platforms.

The video has her lip-synching to a popular Indian song "High rated gabru," which has more than 4.5 million views and 2.5 million likes on YouTube.

According to news agency Press Trust of India (PTI), the ASF has withheld increments and perks for two years of the 25-year-old female staffer. Strict action will be taken if she is found involved in any other violation in the future.

She has been working at the Sialkot airport for the past two years.

The ASF administration has also warned its staff not to indulge in any controversial activity on social media.

UK plans more laser defences as drone threats grow

  • New funding targets drones near military sites and infrastructure.
  • Moves follow rising concern over Russian activity across Europe.

Britain is moving to expand its use of laser-based defences, with the Ministry of Defence confirming new “directed energy weapons” will complement the DragonFire systems planned for Royal Navy destroyers from 2027.

The work sits within a £300 million defence deal and is aimed squarely at countering drones and other low-cost airborne threats.
