Nikkhil Advani approaches Sonam Kapoor for his next

According to the latest reports, filmmaker Nikkhil Advani has approached Sonam Kapoor for his next directorial venture. If the actress agrees to come onboard, she will play a cop in the flick.

“The film will be a thriller, and Sonam has been approached to play a cop in it. It’s an adaptation of a book, and Sonam is considering taking it up,” a well-placed source reveals to a popular Indian daily.

Sonam Kapoor is presently shooting for her next The Zoya Factor, which is also based on a book. The actress says that she believes that some of the best content comes from books.

“Some of the best films in Bollywood and Hollywood have been based on books.  I truly believe some of the best content comes from books, and authors are the real heroes of our times,” she said recently.

Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the Shashanka Ghosh-directed chick flick Veere Di Wedding (2018), co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Shikha Talsania. She will next be seen in Shelly Chopra’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga.
