Manoj Pahwa on what’s the difference between senior actors like Salman and young actors like Varun

Veteran actor Manoj Pahwa has been in the industry for more than two decades. He has mostly played supporting characters in movies like Tum Bin, Taal, Singh Is Kinng, Wanted, Ready, Dabangg 2, Main Tera Hero, Dil Dhadakne Do, Veere Di Wedding, Article 15 and many others. He is an actor who has worked with senior actors like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, and now, he is sharing screen space with young actors like Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, and Ayushmann Khurrana.

We recently met Manoj Pahwa for an interview and asked him that what’s the difference between these two generations of actors, to which he said, “I feel that the whole working style is different. Salman bhai, Sanjay Dutt, they have a different style to work in a film. Now the new generation, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, these actors are very hard-working and focused. I am not saying that the senior actors are not hard-working. I met them when they were in their late 40s, maybe when they were 25 years old at that time they were hard-working. When I started working with Salman Bhai, he was in 40s, so that’s why he was laidback. When I work with these new actors, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, they are always charged up. They are very disciplined, like training and diet. I have seen Tiger used to do rigorous training during Student of The Year 2.”
