Made In China team talks about clashing with Saand Ki Aankh and Housefull 4

This Diwali, there will be three films competing at the box office. Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand Ki Aankh, and Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy starrer Made In China are slated to hit the screens during the festival. While we are yet to see even a single poster of Housefull 4, the makers of Saand Ki Aankh had released the teaser a few weeks ago, and today, the makers of Made In China have launched the trailer of their film.

At the trailer launch event, when the team of Made In China was asked about clashing with the other films, Dinesh Vijan, the producer of the movie, said, “It happens, this year also we had a clash between Batla House and Mission Mangal. I feel that on a holiday there is more than one release because it is a holiday season. I think there’s enough business for everyone.” When he was probed that if the clash might get averted Dinesh clearly said that it won’t happen.

Rajkummar Rao said, “All the best to other films as well. I am sure they all are good films, and even ours is a very good film. We will focus on our film; we have tried to make you laugh and talk about something.”

Talking about it, Mouni said, “I am just happy that Made in China is releasing. I have waited for a year. We finished shooting it last year, so I have just been waiting. So, I am very happy that it's releasing on Diwali, it’s a very auspicious occasion.” Interestingly, Mouni made her debut last year opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold and this year she is clashing with him at the box office.

It will surely be interesting to see which movie will make a mark at the box office.

I’d like to share my thoughts reflecting on the government’s latest budget announcements and considering what they will mean for our businesses, voluntary sector, and communities.

The budget brought a few positives for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). At the start of 2025, there were some 5.7 million businesses. Of these 5.6 million (98.9 per cent) were classified as small; 38,435 companies were medium sized, while just 8,335 companies comprise large businesses with more than 250 employees.
