Juhi Chawla to topline a psychological thriller

Seasoned Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla, who was last seen on the big screen in the 2016 film Chalk N Duster, is currently busy with the shooting of her forthcoming movie, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Also starring Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor in lead roles, the film is being helmed by Shelly Chopra.

Meanwhile, we also hear that Chawla has given her nod to star in a psychological thriller. Though nothing much is known about the project, some sources reveal to an Indian daily that the psychological thriller will be written-directed by South Indian filmmaker Niddhish Puuzhakkal.


Puuzhakkal is popular for his Malayalam film Canvas. He will start shooting for his Bollywood directorial debut in early March.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
