John Abraham on insider-outsider debate: I don't subscribe to such terms

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, there’s a lot of debate on nepotism and how outsiders are treated in the industry. A lot of celebs have spoken about it, and recently, John Abraham also spoke about the ongoing insider-outsider debate.

While talking to Hindustan Times, the actor said, "I don't subscribe to such terms. This is your Twitter trending culture. I believe every individual, be it an insider or outsider, has his/her own battles to fight. Whether you are gracious about it or bitter, it's your decision, but you have to fight this battle. Every person has to prove a point, either you complain about it or put your head down and bloody do your job. I am clear I have come here to do my job, and I will do it well."

"Did I come from outside the industry and make it on my own? Yes. It's a great example for people. Do I think people from the industry are gracious? They are damn bloody gracious. Are all of them gracious? Maybe not, but that exists everywhere in every industry,” the actor added.

John has been in the industry for the past 17 years. He has been a part of many successful films and has also proved his mettle as an actor. John is not just a successful actor, but he has also backed films that have done quite well at the box office.

Talking about his upcoming movies, John will next be seen in Mumbai Saga. The gangster drama was slated to release in June this year but has been postponed due to the pandemic. He also has Attack, Satyameva Jayate 2, and Kaashvie Nair’s next in his kitty. While the shooting of Attack was going on before the lockdown was announced, John had recently started shooting for Nair’s film which also stars Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Aditi Rao Hydari.
