After Baadshaho, Ileana D'Cruz to romance Ajay Devgn in Raid!

Their first film as a pair - Baadshaho - is yet to hit screens, but Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz are all set to reunite for a movie called Raid, to be directed by well-known filmmaker Raj Kumar Gupta. The film was announced last week with Ajay Devgn as the male lead; Ileana is the latest addition to the cast.

The film is set against the backdrop of the 1980s and sees Devgn as an income tax officer hailing from the state of Uttar Pradesh. Ileana, who is currently basking in the success of her last release, Mubarakan, will play Ajay's love interest in the movie.

Reportedly, her character will be very crucial in the movie. “Ileana had been in talks for a second film with Ajay since the duo started filming together earlier this year. Rumours have been rife over the last month but the team only made it official last week. She is expected to sign on the dotted line shortly,” a source reveals.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak, Raid has been written by Ritesh Shah, who rose to fame after writing blockbusters like Pink and Airlift.

The film will mount floors a week after Baadshaho arrives in cinemas on September 1. Raid is slated to release on April 20, 2018.

Brooklyn Beckham told parents to contact him only through lawyers amid family rift

  • Brooklyn Beckham requested that David and Victoria Beckham contact him only via lawyers during a period of strained relations
  • Legal letters were exchanged, though no formal action was taken
  • The request followed what Brooklyn viewed as damaging briefings about his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham
  • Both sides are said to be hoping for reconciliation, despite ongoing hurt

A breakdown that moved beyond private disagreement

Relations within the Beckham family deteriorated sharply last summer, reaching a point where Brooklyn Beckham asked his parents to communicate with him only through legal representatives. The request marked one of the most serious moments in an already strained relationship between the eldest Beckham son and his parents.

Sources say the instruction led to an exchange of letters between legal teams at Schillings, representing Brooklyn, and Harbottle & Lewis, who act for David and Victoria Beckham. While no legal proceedings were initiated, the correspondence made clear that Brooklyn did not want direct contact or public references to him from his parents, including on social media.
