ARIJIT’S SULTAN

APOLOGY BACKFIRES

SINGER Arijit Singh was so convinced his song had been removed from the Sultan soundtrack because of lead star Salman Khan’s grudge against him that he sent out a grovelling apology on social media. He soon deleted the ill-advised open letter, but Sal- man’s people said it was a non-is- sue and refused to comment. By taking it into the public arena, Arijit turned a molehill into a mountain and probably won’t be featured on a Salman Khan film again.
