When Bhoothnath was released way back in 2008, no one had thought that the film would become so popular not only among kids but adults also that the makers would have to turn it into a franchise. Well, the unexpected happened and the makers really developed it into a film franchise and released its sequel Bhoothnath Returns in 2014.

The latest we hear that the makers are planning to take the film franchise forward by launching its third instalment titled Bhoothnath 3. Yes, you heard that right! Soon, there will be a new sequel to the immensely-loved horror-comedy franchise.

BR Chopra's grandsons and Ravi Chopra's sons, Kapil Chopra has confirmed the news. “We are working on the story and have a panel of three writers who have just come up with a concept. We are trying to change that a bit and waiting to formalize it before we start speaking," says Kapil.

When asked if Amitabh Bachchan will reprise the role of Bhoothnath in the third part as well, Kapil says, "There can't be a Bhoothnath without Amitabh Bachchan!"

Meanwhile, Kapil and his team are currently busy with their forthcoming thriller film Ittefaq, featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna. His studio will start working on Bhoothnath 3 after the release of Ittefaq.

Ittefaq is scheduled to release on 3rd November.

Robbie Williams voices concern over eyesight decline
