Aamir Khan & Kareena Kapoor Khan set to headline yet another film?

There are some onscreen pairs who just light up the silver screen with their mesmeric presence and unbeatable talent. The audience loves to see them together again and again. One such pair in Bollywood is of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Though the two actors have not done too many films together, people loved their sizzling chemistry in 3 Idiots (2009) and Talaash: The Answer Lies Within (2012).

The two actors are currently working on their much-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha. The film marks their hat-trick after 3 Idiots and Talaash: The Answer Lies Within. But if rumours are to be believed, Mr. Perfectionist and Bebo could be starring in yet another film together.


Buzz has it that the duo may come together to play the lead pair in Mr Mehta and Mrs Singh, a film which got shelved 15 years ago. Well-known filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj was planning to helm the film with the two actors, but it never took off. Now buzz has it that Khan is keen to register the title and resume the project. We will have to wait for an official confirmation to ascertain the news.

Meanwhile, Mr. Perfectionist is presently shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The hugely anticipated film is an official remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump (1994). Besides Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, popular South Indian actor Vijay Sethupathi is also essaying an important character in the film, written by Atul Kulkarni.

Aamir Khan is co-producing Laal Singh Chaddha in association with Viacom18 Motion Pictures. Directed by Secret Superstar (2017) fame Advait Chandan, the movie is poised for its theatrical release on 25th December, 2020.

Kinski’s criticism leads to dramatic reversal

More than 50 years after its release, Wim Wenders has withdrawn his 1975 film Wrong Move following renewed criticism from actor Nastassja Kinski, who appeared topless in the film at the age of 13.

The German director announced that streaming services, television broadcasters and distribution partners had been instructed to stop making the film publicly accessible. The decision comes weeks after Kinski revealed she had spent 15 years unsuccessfully trying to persuade Wenders to alter the film.
