Trailers of upcoming Hindi films, Hichki and Aiyaary, out

As 2018 knocks on the door, Bollywood is gearing up to release some of its much-awaited films in the first half of the year. But before a film enters theatres, giving the audience a sneak peek into its world is customary. In the last few days, makers have unveiled trailers of their forthcoming films like 1921 and Padman. Tuesday saw the trailer launch of two more hotly anticipated Hindi films – Aiyaary and Hichki.

Starring an ensemble star cast of Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Rakul Preet Singh, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in principal roles, Aiyaary is a suspense thriller with patriotism at its core. The story of the film primarily revolves around two army officers playing a cat-and-mouse game, with one chasing the other. While Manoj is the mentor, Sidharth is seen as a protégé.

Rani Mukerji’s comeback film Hichki, on the other hand, is a story of a teacher with a speech disorder and how she changes the lives of a few students coming from the economically weaker section of the society.

The trailers of both the films have received a positive response from the audience and are trending on various social media platforms even since their launch earlier today.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Aiyaary is slated to release on 26th January. It is clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Padman which also releases on Republic Day. Hichki will arrive in cinemas on 23rd February.
