Priyanka Chopra finds it hard to shoot in Delhi pollution

The pollution in Delhi has been in the news from the past few days. After Diwali, the situation in Delhi has been worst. A lot of Bollywood celebs have tweeted about it, and recently Priyanka Chopra too posted about the pollution in the city.

The actress is back to India to shoot for Netflix’s The White Tiger and she finds it hard to shoot it in the Delhi pollution. PeeCee is using air purifiers and masks there. She posted a picture with a mask and captioned it as, “Shoot days for #thewhitetiger. It’s so hard to shoot here right now that I can’t even imagine what it must be like to live here under these conditions. We r blessed with air purifiers and masks. Pray for the homeless. Be safe everyone. #airpollution #delhipollution? #weneedsolutions #righttobreathe.”

Well, we quite agree with Priyanka that it would be so difficult for people who star in Delhi.

The White Tiger also stars Rajkummar Rao and this will be for the first time when PeeCee and Rao will be sharing the screen space. A few weeks ago, the official announcement of the film was made. Priyanka had posted a montage of pictures from the script reading session on Instagram.

She had posted, “Day 1 table read for #TheWhiteTiger with this incredibly talented team #RaminBahrani @rajkummar_rao @gouravadarsh! Can’t wait for shoot!!! @netflix @netflix_in.”

Priyanka was last seen on the big screen in The Sky Is Pink. While the film received great reviews, it, unfortunately, failed to make a mark at the box office. Rao was last seen in Made In China which also didn’t do any wonders at the box office.

What Britain’s ban on strangulation porn really means and why campaigners say it could backfire

Highlights:

  • Government to criminalise porn that shows strangulation or suffocation during sex.
  • Part of wider plan to fight violence against women and online harm.
  • Tech firms will be forced to block such content or face heavy Ofcom fines.
  • Experts say the ban responds to medical evidence and years of campaigning.

You see it everywhere now. In mainstream pornography, a man’s hands around a woman’s neck. It has become so common that for many, especially the young, it just seems like part of sex, a normal step. The UK government has decided it should not be, and soon, it will be a crime.

The plan is to make possessing or distributing pornographic material that shows sexual strangulation, often called ‘choking’, illegal. This is a specific amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill. Ministers are acting on the back of a stark, independent review. That report found this kind of violence is not just available online, but it is rampant. It has quietly, steadily, become normalised.
