Paedophile who posed as single mum to incite child abuse is jailed

A MAN who posed as a single mother and urged parents to sexually abuse their children has been jailed for five and a half years.

Samraj Kundi set up Open Minded Parents, an internet group, and posed as a single mom who abused her own children, Bradford Crown Court heard.

Kundi posed as "Mistress Sarah" on the website and said he was "into action, not fantasy." During chats, Kundi also encouraged other parents to abuse their children.

The online group has since been shut down.

Kundi had earlier served a two-year sentence for distributing indecent image. He was released from prison on April 20, 2016.

Kundi’s barrister Gerald Hendron said that his client had stopped offending during 2017, but he relapsed because of low mood and anxiety.

He was from “a thoroughly reputable family who are devastated by his behaviour and have to carry the stigma,” the barrister said.

Judge David Hatton QC said: “This was a course of conduct involving various chats online in which you encouraged the commission of vile offences against children.”
