Deepika Padukone set to star in Meghna Gulzar’s next?

After the earth-shattering success of her last release Padmaavat (2018), Deepika Padukone has not signed any new film. Initially, she was set to star in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next with Irrfan Khan. However, when Khan announced that he was suffering from a serious ailment, the project was put on hold.

However, now we hear that the gorgeous actress is in talks with Raazi (2018) director Meghna Gulzar to star in her next. The details about the project are being kept under the wraps.


On the other hand, a leading film trade magazine reports that Deepika might headline the remake of veteran actress Sridevi’s blockbuster film ChaalBaaz (1989) as a well-known director is planning to make a film revolving around twins.

So, if that well-known director happens to be Meghna Gulzar and the actress is Deepika Padukone, then get ready to see the official remake of classic-caper ChaalBaaz.

Meanwhile, Deepika is, reportedly, busy with the preparations for her wedding with Ranveer Singh.
