1.Rent a Storage Unit For Larger Items
Sometimes we have large items that take up far too much room in our garages, leaving little space for their intended purpose – our vehicles.

2.Start With The Most Obvious Spot First
Work on the most obvious spots of the house first. This might include the kitchen counter, the living room, or the collection of items on your dining room table.
When it’s out in the open, it’s the first thing you see. It makes you feel stressed when things are in disarray. This can make other decluttering projects feel even more difficult to manage.
3.Keep, Trash, and Donate

6.Put Items Where You Use Them
Decluttering your home is also about having a sense of order. One of the best pieces of advice is to always keep items where you use them.
If you can’t find a spot for them in the house that is sensible or practical, then it might be time to donate.

It’s almost a right of passage for every household to have a junk drawer. That doesn’t mean that the junk drawer needs to be unorganized, though. Drawer organizers are extremely helpful when it comes to some of the smaller items in your house.
Now you can actually find the paperclips and post-it notes rather than continuously buying more when you can’t locate them.
8.Have a Yard Sale
Sometimes we need a little incentivizing to get rid of things. When you throw something away, it feels like a waste. But if you might make a little extra money on the side, you’re more inclined to get rid of it.
Put together items in your house you’d be willing to sell at a local yard sale. You might not make a huge profit, but it’s better to earn a few bucks than nothing.
9.Change Your Buying Habits
The best way to get rid of clutter is to start at the source. If you’re struggling with too much clutter, then it’s time to start reevaluating your buying habits.
