Sundar Pichai’s decision-making power does not go beyond Google: Report

The responsibilities of Indian-American Sundar Pichai, chief executive officer of Google Inc., does not extend beyond Google, correspondence between Google parent company Alphabet and the Securities and Exchange Commission revealed. Last year, The Securities and Exchange Commission had asked Alphabet for details about the decision power Alphabet CEO Larry Page has on Google and the kinds of information received by Page, president Sergey Brin and Pichai.
