PARIS has emerged as the top destination in Europe for Indian travellers, closely followed by London, according to a British Airways survey released last Tuesday (28). As many as 24 per cent of Indian travellers picked Paris as the top destination in Europe, while 20 per cent respondents chose London, the Travel Habits Survey by British Airways showed. Nearly half the Indian participants were inspired to visit the UK because of James Bond, while 42 per cent and 34 per cent said their travel inspirations were Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes films, respectively.
