Dabangg 3 to start rolling in the first quarter of 2019

It has been years since we have been hearing reports about Dabangg 3, the third part of Salman Khan's immensely successful film Dabangg (2010). However, apart from talks, there has been no progress on the much-anticipated project.

After being delayed many times in the past, Dabangg was ready to mount the shooting floor earlier this year. But later it was pushed to mid-2018. Now the year is about to end, but the film has not started production as yet.

However, producer Arbaaz Khan, who also directed the second instalment of the series, Dabangg 2 (2012), has now ensured that Dabangg 3 will start rolling in the first quarter of 2019.

Talking about what led to the delay, Khan said, “The movie was supposed to go on floors earlier this year but couldn't because Salman is busy shooting for Bharat. And they decided that it's better to focus on one film at a time. He also revealed that everything is in place for Dabangg 3 and he has zeroed in on almost all the actors and technicians, so the third part in the Chulbul Pandey saga will go on the floors early next year either by February end or March.”

Dabangg 3 will be helmed by Prabhudeva who has previously directed Salman Khan in Wanted (2009).
