Vaani Kapoor to romance Ranbir Kapoor in a Yash Raj Films’ flick

According to reports, Vaani Kapoor, who was last seen in the Aditya Chopra directorial Befikre, has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Ranbir Kapoor in an upcoming film to be made under the banner of Yash Raj Films.

Before making her acting debut, Vaani had signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films, out which she has already starred in two movies, Shuddh Desi Romance and Befikre. The actress has also been locked for Yash Raj Films’ forthcoming venture with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. So her next film with Ranbir Kapoor will mark her fourth association with the premier production house.

Reportedly, the film will mount the shooting floor once Ranbir gets some free time from his busy schedule. Currently, the actor is busy with the shooting of his upcoming film Brahmastra which is being bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. His film with Vaani Kapoor will be helmed by Karan Malhotra who has previously directed Agneepath and Brothers.

Ranbir will shortly be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic which, after seeing several delays, is slated to hit the silver screen on 29th June.
