The film hit screens last Friday and received mixed to great reviews from critics. The word of mouth was good from the morning shows itself which helped the film draw more audiences to theatres in the evening and night shows. Resultantly, TEPK pulled in Rs. 13.10 crores on its opening day.

On the second day, the collection of the film swelled further as it collected approximately Rs. 17.10 crores on Saturday. With solid growth on Sunday, the film went on to do the unthinkable and earned a whopping Rs. 21.25 crores, taking its first three days collection figure to a massive Rs. 51.45 crores.
