Taapsee Pannu kicks-off Badla shoot in Scotland

Actress Taapsee Pannu, who was last seen in Dil Juunglee (2018), has started shooting for her next film, titled Badla. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh, the film reunites Pannu with her Pink (2016) co-star, Amitabh Bachchan. The actress begins shooting for the movie in Scotland today.

Talking about the movie, Taapsee said in a statement, "This is going to be a riveting thriller. It's Sujoy's favourite genre and I am yet another time out of my comfort zone which I actually enjoy the most.”

The actress also adds that she is going to explore a "new side" of herself with the new character that she plays in the movie. She is also excited about sharing the screen space with Bachchan after two and a half year.

Meanwhile, Taapsee is currently awaiting the release of her next Soorma. She will also be seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan and Womaniya.
