It seems that after picking up many talented actors and actresses from South Indian film industry, Bollywood has now set its eyes on Punjabi film industry to import talent from there.
Why are we saying so? We are saying so because, after Diljit Dosanjh and Gippy Grewal, another popular Punjabi singer-actor Jassi Gill is all set to take a dive into the glitzy world of Hindi films.
According to a report published in one of the leading entertainment magazines, filmmaker Anand L Rai has roped in Punjabi singer and actor Jassi Gill to play the lead in Happy Bhag Jayegi sequel.
If the report is to be believed, Jassi Gill will romance Sonakshi Sinha in the sequel, titled Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns. Interestingly, the actress is also starring in a film featuring Diljit Dosanjh.
Besides Sonakshi Sinha, Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns also features Diana Penty who starred in the original film. The sequel will be directed by the original director Mudassar Aziz.
