Shah Rukh Khan's dwarf film may release in December 2018!

After the dismal performance of his last release, Jab Harry Met Sejal, loads of expectations are riding on Shah Rukh Khan's next untitled film. The movie sees SRK in the role of a dwarf for the first time in his 25-year-long movie career.

Everyone is waiting for the release of the film with bated breath. What makes the project even more special for film enthusiasts is the fact that it is being directed by the well-known director, Anand L Rai, who is known for making small-town romances.

Filmmaker Anand L. Rai says that he hopes to release the movie by the end of next year and that he might reveal its title very soon.

Recently, the director was in attendance at the celebrity screening of Farhan Akhtar's upcoming film, Lucknow Central. When he was asked about his film with SRK, he said, "I feel honoured to work with him (Shah Rukh Khan) and I will take some time for the film to move forward. I will take another year and a half. We are targeting 2018 December (to release the film). Nothing has been decided yet but we will announce the title very soon."

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and Tigmanshu Dhulia.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has suffered an injury while filming his upcoming action project, King, in Mumbai. The incident took place at the Golden Tobacco studio during a high-octane sequence. Although the injury is said to be minor, Khan has travelled to the United States for medical attention and has been advised to rest for a month. Production on the film has been temporarily paused.

The 60-year-old actor was in the midst of shooting demanding action scenes when the incident occurred. According to sources, the injury is not considered serious but relates to a recurring muscular strain, likely due to years of performing stunts.

Released on 29 April 2025, Tourist Family was made on a modest budget of £665,000 (₹7 crore). With strong reviews and positive audience feedback, it surpassed all expectations, earning £9.3 million (₹98 crore) globally, £6.4 million (₹67 crore) of which came from domestic collections. In contrast, the year’s top-grossing film Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, managed an 800% profit on a £8.5 million (₹89.6 crore) budget.
