Script for No Entry sequel ready, confirms director Anees Bazmee

Reports about a sequel to Anees Bazmee’s 2005 blockbuster hit No Entry keep popping up in media every now and then. But the latest news about the much-awaited project may trigger a broad smile on the faces of the film’s fans.

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee, who is gearing up to begin production of his next directorial venture Pagalpanti from 17th February, has confirmed that the script for the next instalment of No Entry is ready.

“I have a beautiful script with me and I think the film should be made. No Entry has a huge fan base. Whenever it is shown on the small screen, I get calls from people who praise it,” said Bazmee.

The filmmaker went on to add that he is now waiting for producer Boney Kapoor’s go-ahead. “If we make No Entry part two, it will be a very big one. Now, I am just waiting for my producer Boney Kapoor to give a green signal. I have also sent in my wish-list.”

No Entry starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Bipasha Basu, Celina Jaitly and Lara Dutt in lead roles. It was one of the highest grossing films of 2005 with chartbusting music.
